Move is a new radio program launching on January 28th 2016 on K103.7 FM and through the web at http://www.k103radio.com/.
Star Q has been DJing inside clubs before he was legally allowed into them. He picked up his first records at the age of 14, and has not looked back. For over a decade he has toured internationally and has received nu- merous awards and accolades. As part of Little Thunder Sound, he won the 2008 Stylus Awards Reggae DJ of the year. Star Q is a member of the Core DJs. This American collective only allows the premiere DJs in each city to join. Star Q is one of Montreal’s most in demand DJs. He currently holds three weekly residencies. Wednes- days you can hear him play classic club anthems at “Pop Up” inside Karina. Fridays he is the resident DJ at Bains Douches. Saturday nights he plays inside the Sky Complex. Along with his club residencies, Star Q tours extensively. This fall he will be in 15 cities across the United States for the “Are You Hardcore?” college campus tour. This will be followed by a five city Canadian tour later this fall. From clubs, to concerts, to corporate events, Star Q has it covered. He has played along- side legendary DJs such as Kid Capri, Clinton Sparks, and Starting From Scratch. He has DJed at concerts for Rihanna, Beenie Man, Sean Paul, and more. Corporate clients include Guess, Tommy Hilfiger, and Bench. You can hear Star Q weekly on the radio, as he co- hosts “More Fyah” on CJLO (1690am) in Montreal. He is also a monthly guest DJ on “The F1 Show” on K103 radio (103.7fm). You can also listen to him on “The Q” Podcast with over 20 episodes as well as his numerous mixtapes. Star Q’s versatile style, combined with his MCing and production skills makes him one of the most in demand DJs in Canada. His love and knowledge of the music he plays makes him one of the most genuine.
